👩🏻‍🌾 Harvest to Basket Farm Tours

A program designed to promote a healthier lifestyle, support local food systems, and strengthen the connection between the community and the farmers. Somos Frontera and Visit El Paso are launching a series of monthly farm tours where participants will meet farmers in person, learn where their food comes from, and explore a more intentional and sustainable lifestyle. As part of this effort, a Local Food Directory has been developed by the RGC Regional Food Business Center, making it easier for the community to discover and support regional producers. Because choosing groceries from local farms goes beyond supporting the local economy; it also means access to fresh, organic, and seasonal foods that contribute to overall well-being.

🌾 Our First Farm Tour Stops:

• Bodega Loya

• JC Pecans

• Licon Dairy

🗓️ The Plan

11:00 AM - Meet outside Bodega Loya

11:15 AM - Welcome tour to walk the property and shop their products

12:15 PM - Hop into the Visit El Paso vehicle and ride together to JC Pecans

1:30 PM - Back in the van as we head to the final stop at Licon Dairy

1:45 PM - Final stop at Licon Dairy

2:45 PM - Return to Bodega Loya, to conclude our Sunday tour

⚠️ Please Note

• This tour is free, but space is limited to 13 seats in the tour van.

• No-shows or last-minute cancellations will not be able to RSVP for future tours.

• Please RSVP only if you are sure you can attend. RSVP is individual.

• If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 3 days in advance (by Thursday, January 22nd) at 915-443-6698

• Given the nature of the tour and limited space, this experience may not be ideal for babies or small children.
